It's official, TMobile has cut the galaxy note out. Why? Probably has to do with the fact that the note 2 is around the corner. And I waited all this time for the note to come out on TMobile! Late to the party note, thanks. Although I did get a note and I love it for it's huge display and stylus, there is nothing else impressive about this phone.
Any opinions on the upgrade experience from the Note 1 to the Note 2? I'm asking for experienced Note 1 users' opinions since the praise for the Note 2 seems to be people who've made a bigger leap to get to the Note 2. Coming from the Note 1, does the Note 2 feel merely incremental, or are there aspects that make the new experience heavenly?
Hi everyone! I've had the Note 10.1 since December (I love it a lot!) and just got Note 2 yesterday. I basically use these devices for productivity and note-taking.
But right now I have problems syncing my note from my 10.1 to 2. Even after manual syncing it or refreshing the Snote does not work.
A few days ago, I traded my Galaxy S 3 for a Galaxy Note 2 and I am very pleased! Performance and battery life are top notch. Instead of using a post-it note and pen, I now take quick notes on the phone. I also own a Galaxy Note 10.1, so the Note 2 will compliment it :)

So recently I have gotten the Note 2 (from mainland China. I am in the US). The phone says it is running 4.1.9
There are a few issues that I have with it.
1. There are none of the usual Note 2 apps. Like S Note or S Voice. There is no motion setting in the phone settings menu.
2. The S Pen was not there. Instead there was some cheap stylus. (I might have been ripped off..
After some speculation surrounding the unofficial pictures of a T-Mobile branded Galaxy Note, the CellPhone Signal team seem to have come across some pictures of what appears to be just that. Not much has been released in the way of specs, but so far Navy Blue has been mentioned as a colour, the phone will run ICS (to the annoyance of current AT&T Note owners no doubt) and feature HSPA+.
I managed to loose my S-Pen out of my VZW Note 2 the same day that I got my phone.. Looking for replacements, I noticed that the Note 1 S-Pens can be had for cheaper..
I am not so cheap as to not buy the correct pen if there was a difference, but they look pretty much exactly the same..
So I see some rumors that the Galaxy Note II is due out in October - I've only had my Note for about 9 or 10 months but already starting to covet it.
When writing an S Note, you can click the Options (3 horizontal lines) and choose Create Event. This opens a new event in S Planner with your current note already attached. Pretty sweet, eh?
The problem I am having is that after I save and close the event, I can't get back to see the note within S Planner. The note no longer appears to be attached at all.
