Hi All. First of all Happy Holidays.
The other day I got a SMC Network EZ-Stream Internet SMCWAA-G radio device and I am having some issue serving music to it from Linux.
It says it runs with MusicMatch or Rhaposdy on Windows. I want to run this from my Linux CentOS system.
So I was looking at Rythmbox which is on the OS already .
I have my mp3 and dvd on a Buffalo link station.
I'm trying to burn some audio CDs using xfburn and I get an errormessage.ID3 tag demuxer is missing.
You do not have a decoder installed to handle this file.
Probably you need to look at the gst-plugins-* packages
for the necessary plugins. So I used synaptic package manager to add - GStreamer plugins from the "good" set - GStreamer plugins from the "bad" set - GStreamer p
googling around i've found that lot's of forum threads suggest to use phonon xine backend to avoid amarok skips tracks
amarok can play with phonon gstreamer backend without any additional suse repository using the gstreamer "good" plugins (and good extras, but not sure that's mandatory...) in addition to the fluendo mp3 decoder
Some of my Mp3 files that I click and drag to the Mp3 player music folder aren't working. Some of the files work when i drag and drop, but a large number of them give this error message:
"Error while copying "file name here".
There was an error copying the file into gphoto2://[usb:001,010]music/"file name here"
Hi!
I'm trying to extract an audio CD out into m4a (AAC) files using GStreamer based applicatiions (sound-juicer & rhythmbox) under Fedora 17.
I've installed all GStreamer plugins from both official and RPMFusion repositories.
When I try to extract the audio CD, I get the error: "Internal data flow error" in both applications.
Anyone else's had the same issue?
Another
Im on Lucid 10.04 LTS
When and after I sync my ipod touch (version 4.2.1) to rythmbox (which works fine), the CPU speed gets locked at 100%.
Eject the IPOD, shut down Rythmbox, makes no difference.
I have gone through the processes in system monitor; everything shows 0 except system monitor which shows 20 ish %
And its runs pretty slowly as well.
I previously set Rythmbox to include a few different locations.
Now following changes to my directory structure, I'd like to reflect these changes in Rythmbox.
I want to change the music files directory which appears as "Multiple Locations Set" on my Rhythmbox to a set of directories of my choice. But using the UI it only lets me select one. I read using gconf-editor under /apps/rhythmbox I could achieve this, but there's no rythmbox under my /apps on gconf-editor. Has this changed? If not, how can I get it in there?
Best regards
Hi
I was backing up my home dir when I found many ".jpg.pnj" and ".zip.id3" files. The ".pnj" files seem to be thunbnails for the ".jpg" files I have.
