http://askubuntu.com – I need to set the system-wide proxy for a specific user. I can set the proxy for myself when i am logged in as a normal user, I just run the gsettings command in the shell and i am done, i set my proxy. But i want to use the same command so that i can set my proxy but as root. Is this possible. The code is this: gsettings set org.gnome.system.proxy mode 'auto' I am on a 12.04 system. (HowTos)
