Few days back we reported that Linux Game Publishing is planning to bring all games in their catalog to Ubuntu Software Center and Desura. Some of their games like Sacred Gold and Majesty have already been released in these distribution services.
Now RuneSoft, another company that specializes in porting games for Linux, is planning to bring their games to Desura.
Indie real time strategy and shooter game McDROID has been released for Linux.
In the game, you control the McDROID, a farming/combat modular robot and defend your shuttle against mutants while farming strawberries at the same time.
McDROID is based on Unity game engine and it supports 4 player co-op.
Runesoft have recently announced that some of their older titles will be availble via Digital portals in the next couple of weeks. After Airline Tycoon Deluxe was first, now "Robin Hood: The Legend of Sherwood" has entered the Ubuntu Software Center.

Rotion is a challenging puzzle game where the aim is to clear shapes by getting to the middle and popping them.

Cold War, an action adventure game, finally made it to the Desura platform, with the help of Linux Game Publishing.
Cold War was developed initially by Mindware Studios and published by DreamCatcher Games, back on 2005. The Linux version arrived a year later, in 2006.
Linux Game Publishing is now pushing it onto Desura, a digital distribution platform for games.
Maker’s Tale is a new fantasy RTS and strategy game for Linux. It features a tabletop board game like approach where the combat takes place in a sandbox environment enabling the player to rebuild the level during play.
The game is being developed using open source game engine jMonkeyEngine. A tech demo for Linux was released recently.
Desura is a content delivery platform for games and mods developed by DesuraNET. In a nutshell, it is just like Valve’s steam platform. Currently, it has a very good amount of Indie games available.
Desura was only available for Windows but now the developers have launched a limited Beta programme.
