I'm trying to run VLC headless from a cron job. The idea is to grab single images from a RTSP stream every two minutes and (later, and in another script) ftp them to a distant machine.
i want to send the OAScene scene object to next Activity class but i cant. it stops the aplication immediately..if i open other activity class without using the putExtra method it works ...
The Wallpaper The Arctic includes two scenes: day-time and night-time. The day-time scene is very bright sunbeams are reflected from surface of arctic snows and ice and perfuse the all scene with the glaring light. The deep starry sky which is illuminated with the polar lights from time to time is presented on the night-time scene.
I am using Cheese to capture my webcam input. It seems to capture in webm format but the sound is off from the video. How can I fix this does anyone know?
Also, I don't see in the preferences where to change the capture format and or where it saves it's files. CUrrently they get saved to /home/username/videos/Webcam

I created two bootable USB: Lubuntu 12.10 and Ubuntu 12.04 from my windows machine.
SCENE 1
I installed Ubuntu 12.04, everything is fine. A popup window appears that says something like "I have successfully installed the operating system and a reboot is required." I am about to click the reboot now button, when the electricity went off (No laptop battery, dammit)!
i have a hama usb webcam which works fine with the fswebcam command to capture single frames but when i try to capture a video with ffmpeg i get an error:
