We already know that Samsung is appealing the big decision that landed in August involving Apple patents, and we already had an idea that they would go after the jury foreman, but now we have a clearer picture. Samsung has a dozen exhibits involving jury foreman, Velvin Hogan, and his public statements.

After three grueling weeks of the tech world’s highest profile patent trial, and hearing both sides of arguments, the jury in the Samsung-Apple trial were given final instructions by Judge Lucy Koh on what they should be deciding. The jury will hand down one of two potential verdicts.

There has been a lot of talk about Apple getting “home field advantage” in the recent Apple vs. Samsung case on patent infringement. Recently jury foreman Vel Hogan sat down with Emily Chang on Bloomberg Television’s “Bloomberg West”, and said that none of the jury members owned an iPhone. Of course that wasn’t all as the interview was roughly 17 minutes long.

Following up on his television interview last week regarding the Apple v Samsung case, earlier today the jury foreman agreed to field live questions on the Gizmodo web site.

  It’s no surprise that the recent Apple vs. Samsung verdict drew massive ire and certainly no secret that Samsung not only disagrees with it, but plans to fight Apple to the very death. It now appears that Samsung has the additional ammunition needed to contest the court’s ruling and be granted a retrial.
