Rsyslog going nuts - filling hard drive with message log file in one hour

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – Running Fedora 17/64 on AMD quad core with 8 gig of ram and 4TB of hard drive space. Root partition is 12 gig with 3 or 4 gig free before rsyslog did it's hell bent on destruction thing. Problem: the process / program rsyslog that shows up as a process called rsyslogd in gkrellm is going nuts. rsyslog filled my root partition with one log file called message in /var/log Once my partition is full, the system slowly grinds to a halt and any attempt to reboot results in a non-bootable system. I have had to delete the process / application or whatever it is called in order for my s (HowTos)
