Mobile game developer Rovio released a version of their hit Angry Birds games that was themed right after the Star Wars film franchise.

To give their upcoming title even more hype, Rovio has released a short teaser video on YouTube regarding their impending Star Wars themed Angry Birds title that’s due out to be released on November 8th.

Did you know that George Lucas will pimp out the Star Wars franchise to anyone with $10 and a Twinkie? It’s true. In related news, the Angry Birds Star Wars mashup launches on November 8th on iOS, Android and with a series of board games, toys, and of course costumes.

The November 8th release date for Angry Birds Star Wars is fast approaching and Rovio has teased us with another trailer. This one gives us a much better look at what the game play will be like (SPOILER: you fling birds at pigs) and shows us a few more characters than last week’s teaser.

I have triedturning off wifi, turning off data, turning on and off power saving mode.
