I'm not sure if there's already a thread on this issue, but I've tried every peice of software I could use to root my Samsung Galaxy Precedent. I've tried GingerBreak, z4root, SuperOneClick, and Universal Androot, and nothing will root my phone.
Is there a better type of software that will work or a much easier, yet hassle free way to root my Samsung Precedent phone?
I have an android Optimus zone vs410pp Verizon phone and I need help rooting it. I've tried rescue root one click root srsroot and gingerbreak. None of them work. I want to be able to use cpu controls and titanium backup. Any help would be appreciated.
First, I wanted to install 2.3.3 so I can root that, then save the root via OTA Root Keeper, update back to 2.3.4 and then load the root from OTA to have 2.3.4 rooted. BUT, in order for me to do that, the update file won't install in recovery mode.
Does anyone know how I can root my lg ms690. It is android version 2.2.1. Build # FRG83. Kernel version 126.96.36.199. SW version MS690ZV4. HW version 1.1. PRL verdion 3042. ERI version 1003. I have tried both zroot and gingerbreak, both with no success.

Im running the ginger bread leak stock with no mods or anything and I went to go re root my phone last night since I haven't been using root for a while. So I went to use super one click like I normally would and after doing everything super one click says im rooted and then when it asks if I want to run a test and I click yes, the test indicates I am not rooted.
I heard that one click root was the best rooting tool but it states that the evo 3d is not compatible but then goes on to say why you should root it with one click root I just want clarification from anyone who knows more about this.
