After Superoneclick starts it says;
The following device does not have drivers installed;
Network Controller
C~\~\Desktop\SuperOneClick\Drivers\android_winsub. custom.inf
I, possibly foolishly, found that driver .inf and copied it to the Drivers file in SuperOneClick. Any ideas on how to get past the #7 hang?
I am considering rooting my LG Optimus 2x (P990), running Android 2.3.4, using SuperOneClick which I have installed under Windows XP on my laptop. When I connect my device to the laptop running SuperOneClick should SuperOneClick recognise it in any way or should the window stay blank until I click 'Root'?
Hi guys,
First off....I've found this forum to be fantastic! I'm a relatively new member but have been looking at the forums well before joining. I have some questions on rooting. I have an old Droid 1 that I plan on rooting. I've been doing a lot of research on the topic with this being my first attempt at it.
I am working on rooting my Kindle Fire. I have followed the instructions at Android Authority based on a reference from someone that performed a Kindle Fire root successfully.
I followed the instructions, my computer sees my Kindle and I was able to see it from my command prompt.
Once I run SuperOneClick, it runs to "Shell rooting device...-Step #7 and stops.
So I ran superoneclick on my wife's EVO and it says can not root or some junk she wants ics on her EVO so how do I root simpliest way

1st off I have gotten as far as getting the phone's (a kyocera hydro) drivers installed and verified via "adb.exe shell". Then I backed up my phone to my laptop
I have tryed rooting via a prog "Superoneclick". Superoneclick get to number 5 line and sit's and is waiting for something, I have no idea what it is waiting for.
