I reflashed stock JB kernel the other day and found my phone to be running very smoothly. But I can't stand the colours on my purply screen, so back to Trinity (latest stable release).
The problem is, I'm getting a lot of lag and jerkiness on Trinity.
I've always loved stock but flashing it reminded me of the biggest gripe I have with it, its faded colors, which is the reason I flashed Trinity kernel. Anyways, how can I change my color settings/gamma etc, with stock rom / kernel? Is it impossible without custom kernel?

Here is what i did.
Latest CWM recovery v5.8.4.7
after flashing CM9, i wipe cache partition & Dalvik Cache
then i flash "TGST-CM9-ICS_ALPHA19.zip" - the Trinity kernel
when my phone reboot i discover the IMEI is gone.
Any suggestion?
Hey all. I've been using Trinity's kernel until yesterday when I flashed Motley's kernel. However the Trinity splash screen still shows at boot. How do I delete this one?

Ok, so I've rooted and flashed rasbeanjelly from the nexus4root(dot)com website.
I've set everything up, down loaded apps I want etc, however I've heard that trinity kernel is very good with this ROM, if I'm wrong and there's a better kernel correct me. So how do I install the kernel? Same way I did the ROM? Is it compatible? Do I have to wipe everything? Is there a better kernel to use?
Thanks to the trinity kernel, morfic and a very nice FiiO E10 USB dac, I have excellent audio quality in my car through my dash mounted nexus 7. It has worked flawlessly for weeks without issue.
Unfortunately as morfic pointed out in his kernel thread, with a USB DAC enabled and his asound.conf changes, we destroy the audio input. No IP phone calls/ video recording...
I've flashed trinity kernel.and later flashed motley kernel but I still get the trinity boot animation when I power my nexus 7.
What should I do?hoping for a positive feedback :)
Hey guys. I've started compiling AOKP roms for Toroplus and Maguro recently and I'd like to start including Trinity Kernel in my Rom.
I know it can be flashed after the rom but I'd like to have it come installed with it.
I've searched but cant find anything to help.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
So, I’m sitting at my computer just about to hang it up for the night when my friend messages me on Facebook “I’m rooting my Nexus 7 right now.” “Of course you are.” I replied. He’s really into that sort of thing, and went on to say how he could overclock his Nexus 7 to 1.64 GHz, now I’m intrigued.
