I want to root and s off my Desire HD and put Jellytime on it, but I don't really know where to start. I'm quite computer literate but have no experience with Android. Can anybody tell me how to do this?
I want to root my desire v without upgrading baseband.
Here is the specification:
android version: 4.0.3
htc sense: 4.0
software no: 1.73.720.1
htc sdk api level: 4.20
kernel : 3.0.16-g0dd6bb5-dirty
Build no: 1.73.720.1 CL116923
PLEASE HELP ME TO ROOT MY DESIRE V..
THANKS IN ADVANCE...
Hi. I've noticed that there are no roots for an HTC Desire 610 (I'll even take a non-specific software Desire Root, if it works!) with the updated Android software. Any idea if this is possible, or a timeline of how long it might be until one is made?
After all the confusion on whether the HTC Desire HD will be getting an update to Android 4.0 or not, we finally have a solid answer from HTC. It’s now official that the HTC Desire HD will not be getting the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update. The manufacturer has said that the HTC Desire has the best software experience possible for it’s current hardware on Android 2.3.
I have no clue how to root my phone, all I want to root is to change one thing in a game that keeps giving me errors and taking screenshots, THAT'S IT.
-I've tried downloading GingerBread version 20, and that failed after multiple attempts of restarting phone.
-I've tried to unmount my SD card, enable unknown sources but that didn't seem to do anything.
-I've removed everything off my SD card
You might be forgiven for thinking the HTC Desire Z is the misunderstood second cousin in the HTC litter. When the Taiwanese manufacturer already has the Desire, the Desire HD, the Desire S and more, it’s hard to get your head around just why you should care about the Desire Z. But the Desire Z truly offers something the other models don't -- a physical keyboard.
