Hi guys me again
Ok..!! Im starting to learn about rooted phones and un-rooted phone systems.
In easy terms, what are the advantages and disadvantages of having the phone rooted or un-rooted?
Hello everyone, I have a problem. I bought a rooted Evo with the 4 Kornerz (4.1.2v) Rom. I tried to activate the phone and Sprint told me that they can't activate rooted phones. Does anyone know how to activate a rooted phone? Is there a way to temporarily unroot the phone? Do I have to go back to stock? He used Revolutionary and the boot key to root the phone it was a 2.3.3v.
Need help. I rooted my Sprint Galaxy S3, this being my first time, and everything went as it was suppose to. I have the SU icon but it wont update and all rooted apps i try say my phone is not rooted. What do I need to do?
I have been using 360 Antivirus in my phone but recently I changed it to Avast but unfortunately, it uses more battery energy and drains it away especially when I'm using the phone so I decided to uninstall it. I surf Internet by my phone and sometimes install some APPs from GooglePlay. My phone has not been rooted and I wouldn't root it.
My phone is an HTC evo 4g, and there are a couple of things wrong. First, it's rooted, and I don't know how this changes the phone but it has been bugging out lately and I think that might be the problem. I have a system update on my phone, and it gets about 15% done, and then has an exclamation and a little triangle and won't finish.
I recently purchased a new ZTE™ Savvy Straight Talk phone and somehow someone Linux rooted it or switched it with an identical rooted phone. I cannot install apps, safely purchase anything or safely enter any personal information on it. I cannot afford a new phone. Is it possible to re root this phone so I can control it? Can I return it to factory settings?
I ran the all-in-one toolkit v2.0 to root my at&t htc one x but my phone is showing not rooted. I followed all the steps and successfully unlocked the bootloader then proceeded to flash the TWRP recovery. When I try to run apps that require root my phone says it's not rooted. I downloaded RootChecker app from the playstore and it says phone is not rooted.
As of today, my phone received the new OTA Update for my HTC One S. However, obviously I cannot update due to my phone being rooted. As a person who is still relatively new with rooting (about a month rooted with my phone-first time), I have a couple questions.
First and foremost, have you guys enjoyed the OTA Update so far?
