so i rooted my esteem then got real brave and put in the black plague rom and kernel. didnt like it so i did a factory reset. no back up made. yeah i know i should have read more. anyways i was able to recover the phone thanks to gbiggie pointing me to what i needed. so heres where im at. right now ive got the broken out rom with blitzkrieg kernel but i dont care for it.

So I went back to Stock OS on the Esteem. Love the power of stock but hate all the icons and theme. So I took a basic GingerBread Rom and ripped out all the icons and files and inserted them into the Esteem. Looks like the Nexus S before ICS lol. It even has a Gingerbread style 4G icons! I love it!

I just got the galaxy s3 a few days ago, and I truly don't see what it had over my Esteem except battery life. I'm beginning to regret having bought it. If anything, I find it rather lacking. That, and no flash, and you tube app keeps buffering and never fully plays a complete video.

The LG Esteem is now considered crap. Its the least proficient phone on the market now. Its becoming old, and slow and doesn't keep up with todays needs. Can I Improve the Esteem in any way fro heavy or at least texting everyday use? LG Needs to come out with the LG Esteem 2 or LG Esteem Optimus. idk This phone is just driving me crazy.

I have to restart the phone several times a day cause it it seems to get stuck. The blue load line always stops at the left hand corner and won't work until I press restart. I'm not too tech savvy and this is only my second smartphone after my esteem(third overall) I have a weak signal most of the time, but I don't think it explains this issue, or does it? Any help would be much apreciated.
