Rom toolbox pro is on sale this week (month?) I already own titanium backup pro & set cpu. I am wondering if the toolbox is still useful, & if I should invest in it. Right now seems to be a good time to get this app.
Well, as the title says, I recently purchased ROM Toolbox, and I already had Titanium Backup PRO. I noticed the former does also the same job of the latter, which is backing up apps + data, and has many batch operations just like Titanium.
Now, I also noticed that both of these two apps generate backup files in .gz format.
I recently got a droid x from a friend just to mess with rooting and romming it. I factory reset used framaroot to root and Droid 2 Recovery Bootstrap to strap CWM and created a backup. I went thru forums looking for roms and downloads and all the links to the Roms are dead or changed. So on from there I downloaded Rom Toolbox Lite which had some roms.
Just got S-OFF now on my HTC one XL :) Woohoo and excited that its gonna be my first development thread
Thats not a new idea but its a solution for those guys who having problem when they type "adb shell" and get screen displaying "root@android:\#" and they cant go further because of it and cant get their supercid.
Whenever I try and backup my apps via T.B. it always gets stuck during the process. Yes i have USB Debugging enabled..Unknown Sources checked..and I am fully rooted. Also, whenever i try and fix permissions via ROM manager or ROM Toolbox..it also gets stuck during the process. Any ideas??
