The Max Payne franchise is back, RockStar Games is resurrecting the hard-boiled hero that brought bullet-time to video gaming.
Hello :-3!
Recently I have been playing around with Wine Windows Program Loader. Strangely, the audio (within windows applications) seems to have broken and buzzes instead of working as it should. I have fiddled with the "Wine Configuration" Audio Tab with no success and decided to turn to the forums. Any help would be appreciated!
No it is not a new headache remedy; instead it is the arrival of gritty action anti-hero Max Payne to the Android platform.

Max is back, this time with the power of Rockstar Game’s impressive development team behind him, but he is still a failure. Max Payne 3 chronicles the further slide of the character that brought the video game world ‘bullet time’ and crime noir grit, and it packs a punch.

Hi,
I'm using Cinelerra for the first time and I'm having problems. I'm doing simple drag-and-drops of clips (audio + video) and adding dissolve/crossfade transitions. My problem is that the transitions are incredibly glitchy.
I have just recently installed Ubuntu 9.10 64 bit on my HP Pavilion dv7 laptop. The installation worked smoothly and everything seems to be in place. There is just on issue, my audio driver, IDT, was not installed and whenever I try to listen to music through headphones, the audio comes through both the headphones and speakers.
Yesterday all was good and fine with no issues whatsoever. Today, when I start up I have audio at the login screen - the characteristic "clunk" when I choose my user account. Once KDE starts up I see that my audio is muted. Hovering over it says "Volume at 100% (muted)" - no problem, I'll just unmute it.
I'm using Lubuntu 12.04 on an Eee-PC with HDA intel soundcard.
The microphone works perfect in WinXP (dualboot, same machine).
The crackling/static is present in Skype, Audacity.
And the volume is also very low, I have to boost the mic in PulseAudio Volume control to have a conversation on skype, but this also increases the volume of the static.
