I had installed and updated the libimobiledevice, and now, ubuntu can see my iphone after connected. Great to have this libimobile device tool.
From Banshee or Rhythmbox, can see music in my iPhone.
But,the music files only can move one way. I cannot save the music files into the iPhone. Only the music files can be copied out from iPhone into the harddrive of ubuntu.
What's wrong with my setup?
I have installed Fedora 12 on my laptop (Lenovo X61s) and currently I have some problems with my OS. Please help me to config my machine.
I can not enable Desktop Effect any more. I received this message: "Accelerated 3D graphics is not available. Desktop effects require hardware 3D support."

Rhythmbox was working fine ubtil I tried to install a plugin https://github.com/srijan/StopAfterC...-for-Rhythmbox
But after I installed and tried to activate this, Rhythmbox crashed and would not restart.
I have tried removing the plugin & uninstalling and re-installing RB, but no luck.
This is my error.
Code:
paresh@desktop:~$ rhythmbox

Our drummer recorded our band with an Apple product, his iPhone or Mac.
He emailed me the recording as an .m4a file, which plays just fine on my gf's Windows machine, but I cannot get it to play with any of the players I have installed on Fedora 17 (Rhythmbox, VLC, mplayer, etc.). I have tried installing ffmpeg streamer, etc., to no avail.
I just installed Linux Mint Debian Edition on my friend's laptop. He's new to Linux, so I've been helping him out. The biggest problem is getting his iPhone 4 to mount. On libimobiledevice.org it shows a cool video of a guy managing his iPhone with Linux thanks to libimobiledevice. libimobiledevice.org also says libimobiledevice supports the iPhone 4.
I have been reorganizing my launcher. Now Rhythmbox will no longer attach to it when it is minimized.
I wanted to try the different options for Rhythmbox visualizations. They work just fine in "embedded" mode. Then I used the drop-down menu on the lower right to switch them to "Desktop". The visualization disappeared. I can't find it anywhere on my desktop (nor anywhere else). I tried turning it off and on again. It doesn't come back.
