Rhythmbox and Musicbrainz unable to connect to Internet

http://askubuntu.com – Ubuntu 12.04 Rhythmbox Last.fm and Musicbrainz unable to connect to Internet. I have accounts set up with both and can connect manually through browser. I was able to connect with both before my upgrade to 12.04. I've re-installed both applications with no change. Last.fm plug in doesn't ask for account credentials. Any and all help will be very much appreciated. Thank you in advance. (HowTos)

I am unable to connect mobile internet through LG GS290 phone, phone is detected but could not connect.

Tried to connect via bluetooth and dialup. In both the cases I am able to detect my mobile phone and but when I click on connect tab, it keep trying to connect but after few seconds displayed the "disconnected, you are now off line" message.

Hello I am unable to connect to the Internet using a wired connection. I was able to use the wired network yesterday. But I had problems with the flash player, so had to reinstall Ubuntu again. So I just installed Backtrack 5r3 gnome on Vmware Player.

I'm using the latest Arco CM9 ROM but I'm totally unable to connect to my 802.11n router. The phone actually identifies & saves the network but it is unable to gain access to internet. Using the 'connect to network' achieves nothing but the phone reports that it the network is 'Saved, secured with WPA2'.

Using 12.04.I am unable to connect to internet via Wireless and by Wired Ethernet connection from my modem.Firefox says "Server not found" and cant download any updates as well.But one ray of hope is Transmission is able to download files via torrents already there.So why dont other applications cannot connect to Internet and more importantly how to solve this.All of this was pre

I have installed Oracle VM virtual box on Windows 7 and using LINUX (backtrack 5) as my virtual OS. The problem is i'm unable to connect to internet from my virtual OS. i'm using USB dongle (mobile broad band) to connect to internet from my host OS windows 7.

I tried setting NAT in VM settings but this doesnt help.

This happens often for my ubuntu 12.04.

I'm using ubuntu on my laptop and connect to internet via wifi.

Sometimes even though the connection is established with the modem I'm unable to connect to the internet.

at that times I'm also unable to connect to 192.168.1.1, which should give me the page to my modem even if there is no internet connection to the modem.
