Why have an expensive computer? 2 years 35 weeks ago

A question just came to me... Why have a expensive computer with linux on it?I have a computer with...AMD Phenom X3 8450 overclocked to 2.81Ghz (from 2.1Ghz)5GB of ram at like 600 or 700MhzATI Radeon 4870that I built a year or two ago for gaming.

I installed the following HD games : (all require huge files for download. So first have more space in memmory and Wi ) 1. NFS Most Wanted - [OK] 2. Mordern Combar 3 - [OK] 3. Splinter Cell HD - [Crashed.So I uninstalled] 4. NOVA 2 HD - [Crashed.So I uninstalled] 5. BackStab HD - [Crashed.So I uninstalled]

Please see the attached image as I'll refer to it using spreadsheet cell notation.

The upper left corner had 8 cells uncovered before this game ended. So imagine what this looked like before I took a snapshot of the failure.

General Cell Standby Time 23 weeks 3 days ago

Hey everybody.

Got the phone yesterday and used it till it drained to 5%. Put it on the charger before bed.

Unplugged this morning with 100%. Within 5 min it was at 98%.

I'm seeing a cell standby time of 24%. I see most people have between 7 and 15%.

Is there a way to fix this? I know nothing about rooting or anything like that.

I am about to upgrade from my trusty E4GT to a new phone.

I am thinking about giving my daughter the E4GT to use as a music / movie / Game (a la Galaxy Player). It won't be activated as a cell phone any more.

What do I need to do? I know how to set it up under her e-mail address and she will only be able to have Wifi access.
