I'm having a problem with my inspiron 1525 and the shift keys. I am running Ubuntu 8.04 First my left shift key just dosn't work at all. If that were all I would probably just assume I pounded on it too hard. However the same time that started my right shift key stoped working only for the t, c, x, m, v, z, and y keys.

I get dumped out of KDE and see a flash of some console output but I can't find it in any log.

I'm running Fedora 15 (upgrading is hard).

I recently built a computer and put ubuntu 12.04 on it. Everything was working fine, keyboard wise, up until a couple of hours ago. I had been installing Wine and PlayOnLinux when somewhere down the line the keys s, u, r and 7 stopped working while the shift key is held. s, u, and 7 work with the right shift key, but r will not work with either shift key.

**how can i switch languages like windows alt+shift(L or R)

alt + shift+l

alt +shift+r

in any of alt +shift ?

i make it work to get the next languages about its didn't back to main language without using shift+l +lt**

Anyone else seeing odd function of the SHIFT key and zero key? I am not able to get zero to shift to the close-bracket. The current function of the zero key appears to be the letter o, with SHIFT making a capital O.

All other keys are shifting and functioning appropriately. F16 Xfce 64-bit is up to date.
