Hi,
I am using lfs live cd for building CLFS Version SVN-20100828-x86_64-Multilib. I was able to build till 10.4.1. Installation of Perl and had to quit due to few errors or possible mistakes on my part.
I wish to the chroot and start over. How do I find out what went wrong and rectify it. I am a BSD user and this is bit trivial for me.
I'm trying to set up a build environment using chroot, but instead of downloading ubuntu base files, I want to use my live / as base files for the chroot and use c-o-w to redirect any changes made in the chroot to other folder.
Im trying my hands at using live-build to build a iso of ubuntu and ive had success in the past using live-build for debian spin but never attempted with ubuntu.
Hello,
A few years ago (2006) I built my first LFS system. It was GREAT! LFS was by far my best linux system ever, I used the More Users package managment system and everything.
So, having one LFS system under my belt you'd think I'd know what I was doing, but the truth is I'm still an idiot, and need help with the simplest of things.
I'm trying to build my own rpm package and have a couple of doubts.
First of all, in several places I've red that one shouldn't build rpms as root. Why is that? During the building process, rpmbuild has to go through the install stage where it installs files to the system. As far as I understand I can't do that if I'm not root. rpmbuild prrocess finishes with error.
Hi there.
Does anyone know how i can make the default Ubuntu 12.04 iso with the live-build scripts?
I think it isn't just:
Code:
lb clean
lb config
lb build
lb clean
And i have a problem that /dev and the other things that should be mounted with the lb build script doesn't unmount.
Edit: This is the problem.
Code:
[2012-09-18 20:50:02] lb_chroot_live-packages
Reading package lists..
Hi!
I'm using openSUSE 11.3 i586 and trying to use build to build some packages.
However when I start build in a package directory I get:
Code:
logging output to /var/tmp/build-root/.build.log...
Memory limit set to 2715416KB
Using BUILD_ROOT=/var/tmp/build-root
Using BUILD_ARCH=i586:i486:i386
I'm trying to build from a source rpm packages for both i686 and x86_64. The build platform is F18 x86_64 and the build for the x86_64 arch is successful.
I have set up the build environment under the username 'makerpm' and followed the package building documentation on the Fedora wiki.
I think the problem is that i686 libraries are needed. I just didn't see how to set it up.
everyone
There is a project on github --> https://github.com/CyanogenMod/android_external_openvpn/tree/ics ,After download the sourcecode , I just want to build it use NDK-BUILD command in Linux(Centos 6.3) , But the author does not say anything about it ;
So, I just ndk-build it ( I have test ndk-build is ok ) , it shows :
Android NDK: Could not find application project
