I am trying to unroot my device. I tried using the 12b kdz file but all it gave me was an error and it failed. Is there anything else I can do to unroot my phone and restore it to the way it was before root?
I am currently on 4.4.4 stock (XT1033) ,rooted with cwm. I have taken a backup of stock image via cwm before installing Super Su.
My question is how do I unroot the device ?
What happens when I restore stock img via cwm ? Will it unroot ?
Just thought people might like to know if you unroot via motoroot or pwnmymoto and then install the OTA, the entitlement hack sticks through the update. I only rooted for that reason and now that it stuck I don't need to re-root!
I just recently Odined from MI7 to NB4 to flash the new Jedi update. I backed up everything in Titanium Backup, and then used Call Log Backup and SMS Backup & Restore to back up my texts. Since the KitKat updates, in order to restore SMS backups, the app doing the restoration needs to be set as the default messaging app (temporarily).
I managed to Root my Galaxy S4 but now I have to send my phone in for repairs. I tried to UnRoot with Mobile Odin Pro and I am getting IMPORTANT Using Mobile ODIN on this device will VOID YOUR WARRANTY, as KNOX counter will be triggered...
