Can someone please tell me how to finally save widgets, data & home screen settings when switching between ROMs? I use Apex launcher and it does not allow me to restore my exact settings when a new ROM is flashed. I have read in various posts that Titanium Backup allows this, but there are never any instructions or what feature you are to look for in titanium to make this possible.
Hello
I flash updates pretty often and If im lucky the widgets stays in place. However if I wanna flash a new rom, I am wondering how I can backup all the custom widgets I have made in Desktop Visualiser?
I'm slowly learning my way around flashing, but so far, I have only used un-modified or only slightly modified pre-rooted TW ROMs (thanks freeza.)
The main reason for this is I really like my home setup with GO launcher and my theme (props to mindseed for awesome steampunk themes for the launcher and many widgets.)
I really want to start in on some of the custom ROMs.
Was wondering if anyone knows of an app that will allow you to backup the layout of your home screens and then restore them. It's a pain in the butt to set everything back up after flashing a new ROM.
Titanium Backup definitely helps in restoring the apps and their data but it would be nice if there was something similar for home screens. Thanks!
Hi all,
I have had my Note II for a day now and I love it but I seem to have an issue. I rooted and installed CWM 6.0.1.5 (modified version by Philz I believe) using Odin and I of course made a backup of my stock rooted ROM before I started flashing anything but when I tried to restore my Nand it says that it cant find the files and cant open the location.
hi
i made a full backup from my old host and wanna to restore in my new VPS.
i have no problem with restore function but it take to much time and my PC cannot be logged in internet for alot of time.
Hello all,
I recently installed 'midnightrom' (S-on) and Im loving it. Id like to make a FULL backup image of my device using 4ext (full version). How do I do this? The website is vague. What I would like is a full backup of everything so that if I try another rom and dont like it I can always restore back to the EXACT spot I am now.
So Now You have your LGL45C Recovery

Hi,
I've spent a lot of time customizing and creating widgets with Simple Text and Minimal text, and then I lost it all when I flashed a new ROM.
I tried backing up with Go backup, My backup, titanium back up, and all didn't back up the customization. Maybe I didn't backup the right files?!
Nandroid backs up everything.
