I am using alacarte to edit the list of folder in the applications menu on the desktop. (in the items menu) There are menu entries in italics which are those that are hidden. When I press the check box, a check does appear, but the text remains in italics.
Here's the situation: I have installed Gnome and KDE alongside with default Studio Xfce in Ubuntu Studio 12.04. I want use the default Studio menu structure in Xfce, with some modifications (remove the things that i don't need in that environment).
In that case I don't understand what you were asking Here are the commands in a right-click context menu, and the edit screens. You can edit/delete/add/whatever/, which is what I thought you were asking?EDIT OK I think what you are asking is....the options that appear for the context menu items don't have the correct icons?
I installed alacarte and used that to try and add an application launcher for Sublime Text, but I got an error half way through. Now I've got a launcher in my menu that links to a non existent file, without an icon. It doesn't show up in alacarte, and I searched in /usr/share/applications and it doesn't show up there. I cannot find any reference to it on my computer, yet still it's there.
