I tried to launch a game (GTA San Andreas) on wine. GTA showed "Cannot find 800x600x32 video mode" and closed immediately. Computer I currently have is Lenovo IdeaPad G510, with Intel HD Graphics 4600 graphical processor. I didn't change anything in wine settings. My OS is Debian 7.5 (wheezy).
was wondering if you guys know any website where i can find a video driver for a sis 771/671 graphics card, also known as sis mirage 3. and if there is any way to change my resolution to 1280x800, cause 800x600 isn't working out very well for my eyes.thanks:D
I installed optifine (latest version ) in minecraft!
All settings except changing the resolution works fine!
i changed resolution to 640x480 but even pressing f11 , i don't find any change in the resolution!
what do i do? please help!
Could anyone tell me how i can change the capture resolution for my webcam? It seems that it captures the images at 320x240 resolution while it is capable of 1280x960 at 1fps/s but i'd like a 640x480 resolution, how can i change that? I've looked at the v4l tools but i failed to find any option to do that.
The syslinux vesamenu can use all resolutions that are in the vbios of your graphic card (just a fyi, this is no different in grub). To set the resolution, useMENU RESOLUTION width heightin syslinux.cfg. The background picture needs to match this resolution.
