http://forum.xda-developers.com – Can someone add this features to ROMS? I used to be an xperia x8 user and our roms have this feature installed.. I really find this feature useful coz it keeps your lock/power button in good condition.. I tried to port the feature in my active but im not that familiar yet with the ics source.. Hi, I need help with my xperia ion lt28h.. After installing a .zip (Smooth ion) through CWM Recovery, my phone restarted n booted up normally to the lock screen.

I really want to like the HTC one for its design, screen and sound quality. But I just can't fathom the placement of the power button. It just makes no sense on such a tall phone. HTC is the ONLY manufacturer that places the power button on the top of such large devices.

I am now banging my head on my desk after several hours of trying to resolve this issue. Bought phone used a few weeks ago. Every thing has been working fine. Yesterday the phone froze up while answering a call. Now the phone's power button stopped waking up the phone. It will wake up if I plug it into the charger.

I have tried these apps to try and unlock the phone by the volume buttons.

Over three weeks in, I am still blown away by this phone as I am finding new features everyday BUT I am also having difficulties with my power button. As I read in the Sprint forum, some time ago, it was noticed that the power button seemed loose, 'rocky' on a pivot. Other Note II demo phones had some flexibility with the power button as well.

Hi, i want to know if i'm the only one with this problem, sometimes, at least once a day, my phone does not wake up from "deep sleep" when i receive an sms.

When i randomly check my phone for no apparent reason, they all pop at once. Its only when i press the power button that the device really seems to wake up.

Ive used so many roms, even back in the days of 2.3 roms.

Can anyone show me how to add The "Hold Back Button To Kill App" feature in any ROM?

The feature is available in CM7 and Zeus, and find it really useful to kill non responding apps/ or to close apps quickly!

I am now planning to switch to Nemesis X, and would like to add this feature before i flash it.

I've just rooted my phone (my first root) and installed Nameless ROM v7.2 Build 5 with the 806Mhz image. Right after that everything seemed to be fine.

I just took my Galaxy S3 out of my pocket and hit the power button to "wake it up". Nothing. The blue led is flashing in the top left corner. But it does not wake up. Tried holding power button down for 10 seconds. Nothing. Tried the hard reset (Power, Volume UP, Home Buttons). Nothing. Plugged it into the wall and let it charge for a while. Still nothing.
