After reading through this forum, I still have 2 questions about updating package. 1st question : I have install fail2ban with the command : rpm -i Index of /repositories/home:/leonardocf/openSUSE_11.0/i586fail2ban-0.8.4-2.1.i586.rpm How to configure the repository manager to look for update ? 2nd question : I have install an_another_software with the command rpm -i Index of /repositories/home:somewhere/openSUSE_11.0/i586/an_another_software-x.y.z-1.i586.rpm It appears that this software can be found in : a) Index of /repositories/home:somewhere/openSUSE_11.0/i586/an_another_software-x.y.z-1.i586.rpm and b) Index of /repositories/server:/php:/applications/openSUSE_11.1/noarchan_another_software-x.y.z-1.noarch.rpm How to configure the repository manager to look for update ? When I try to update system (the automatic updates): this message is displayed:

there are 2 related to 11.3: openSUSE_11.3/ and openSUSE_11.3_KDE_Distro_Factory/ Index of /repositories/KDE:/Extra

Hi all,

I have openSUSE 11.1 and Thunderbird version 2.0.

However I want to install Thunderbird 3 and I want to do so with YAST.

So I : YAST --->Software repositories

which gives me a screen with on the right hand side :

opensuse-11.1-non-oss opensuse-11.1-oss opensuse-11.1-Update opensuse-11.1-0

I installed the 11.2 kernel 2.6.31.13.22.1 from Index of /repositories/Kernel:/openSUSE-11.2/openSUSE_11.2

works better then the stok kernel not diskonnects frome accespoint anymore
