So I dropped my phone maybe a little over 6 ft hitting a tile floor. Nothing broke luckily but I did notice now if I kinda drop my phone on my desk lightly it restarts or just turns off. On top of that it happened to me yesterday and when I turned it on it had done a factory reset on its self. I don't know of this has happened to anybody else and if so what did you do.
I've had the phone for about a week and have sadly dropped it 3 times already. I don't have a case yet so the phone is still in new condition. I dropped it tonight in walmart when I reached in my pocket and it came out and dropped on the solid floor. Luckily the device is still flawless. They are too slippery without a case but I'm trying to hold out until xmas. They are durable
I'm sure there have been many posts about cracked screens...
but my glass screen is NOT cracked. I was the grocery store and my phone fell on the floor. the floor there was very similar to the floors at Costco and the phone fell hard. the flip cover even popped out. My phone looks fine and had no scratches on the corners or anything.
I've dropped my phone 23 times since I got it at the end of February, 2013. EVERY SINGLE TIME that it dropped, it dropped face down. Landed on the bezel of the TPU case I have on it, but the screen never got scratched, not even a single dent in the plastic chrome siding... NOTHING!
N4 gives you wings.
Really, this is probably due to my anxiety more than anything, but I have a constant paranoia about my phone and tablet not performing the way it should. Like, whenever I'm using my phone and I get a hitch or I'm typing on its keyboard and it doesn't register a key press or using the browser and getting lag or unresponsiveness, I automatically assume it's a virus.
My coworker dropped her HTC EVO 4G on a tile floor and destroyed the digitizer and the LCD both. I have read online that there were different vendors for the LCD during production of the EVO 4G. Do I need to find out what this phone shipped with before I order replacement parts or is it irrelevant?
I haven't been able to find a case for my phone yet - at least not one I actually like, and I'm noticing some slight scratches at the bottom of the back cover. Obviously, it's not going to hinder the functionality of the phone, it's purely cosmetic, but I'd like to replace it when I do find my case.
Damn. My white S3 was stolen a month ago, I've had a blue replacement for a few weeks. Just now, I nipped to the loo, with the phone in my pocket, listening to a podcast.
After I sat down, I reached into my pocket to put on a different podcast, the phone slipped through my fingers and fell 6 inches, landing face down on the laminated floor.
Hi
Got my S3 the other day.. Worked fine.. Now it have been dropped from the sofa and down on a wood floor.. Now the screen fades very quick, impossible to type sim code etc... Even when it boot up and I try to go into download mode the screen fades... What to do?
If I want to send it back to the store I have to get it back to stock ROM. At this moment I run CM10 on it.
