Hi there!
I've got a problem with my HTC Desire sd card partition.
Every rom works fine, sd card also but it starts to force closing, freezing and randomly rebooting when I push apps to sd card using any of the A2SD scripts (except stock one). I mean, when I use roms which just need SD-EXT (such as MIUI or SpazeDog ICS) nothing seems to work uncorrectly but when I move apps all problems start.
I have just rooted my phone this week.
Have no desire to install any ROMS since it sounds awfully risky to me and I hear they don't always work well.
I mention ROMS because, if what I read it correct, many of them already have presets that trick the phone into thinking its running off an SD drive.
I just want to find a way I can copy my apps to an SD drive and run them from it.
There
I have a Samsung Galaxy Y. I rooted it and put Link2SD on there and linked all my apps to make space on the tiny internal memory (don't buy this phone!).
Now the apps that I linked continually become unavailable until I restart the phone. After doing this I am no longer logged into any of them.
This is annoying.
Can't Install Apps from Market to SD card or Move currently installed Apps to SD Card. SD Card works for general file transfers and has loads of space. Apps that were on the SD card are showing as not installed with default Android icon in menu but they still there on the SD card when I check via usb mass storage connection to pc.
Hi All
Just wondering if I can make certain apps of my choice stop the phone from going to sleep.
Things like Words With Friends.
I don't find that Smart Stay works well at night.
Rooted SIII Omega rom
Thanks Pep
I'm new to the forum, and I'm hoping to stick around and participate cause I'm really into my Android (JRO03C, v. 4.1.1). Tonight I successfully rooted it, which is awesome, however I'm baffled by one thing.
It was my understanding that when you unlock / root your phone (e.g. through Nexus Root Toolkit), you lose all the data on your phone.
I'm rooted on LRQ (hydracore kernel). After I upgraded, I restored all possible apps using Titanium backup. Now, after sometime, my phone shows that few apps require update on play store and I do the update (even though were already on latest version). After few days, the phone again asks for the apps to be updated (the same update versions as before). Why is this happening?
I plugged my phone into my laptop to transfer Titanium Backup files to Google Drive. I turned my screen back on, and went to the app drawer and noticed a few of my apps were gone: Facebook Messenger, Words with Friends, and Wikipedia.
is there a rom or is anyone able to make one with a fresh clean no pre apps installed on the phone?
