Removing old stuff from F11 to F12 upgrade?

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – How do I go about removing the old f11 rpm stuff after an upgrade? I have several packages from fc11 that are newer than what is on the fc12 (probably because of updates), so several things still show up as fc11. Why isn't the fc12 updated at least to the newest or newer stuff in fc11? for example, before I had upgraded, I had curl-7.19.7-2.fc11.i586, and on the F12 DVD is curl-7.19.6-10.fc12.i686.rpm, so it didn't update. is this ok? I also have a ton of nvidia stuff that needs to be cleaned up but not sure about the best/safest method. any help appreciated... akmod-nvidia-190.42-1.fc12.4.i686 kmod-nvidia- kmod-nvidia-190.42-1.fc12.6.i686 kmod-nvidia-PAE-190.42-1.fc12.6.i686 kmod-nvidia- kmod-nvidia- xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs-190.42-5.fc12.i686 kmod-nvidia- kmod-nvidia- kmod-nvidia- kmod-nvidia- nvidia-xconfig-1.0-1.fc12.i686 kmod-nvidia- nvidia-settings-1.0-3.2.fc12.i686 kmod-nvidia- kmod-nvidia- xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-190.42-5.fc12.i686 kmod-nvidia- kmod-nvidia- (HowTos)
