I'm trying to connect to a Windows XP pro through Remote Desktop (my local machine is on Windows 7).
I know that I have to type mstsc.exe /admin (I'm not using the deprecated option /console) to open the console session.
However, it really seems that I'm not connected to the console session.

Issue: Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Remote Desktop Viewer 2.30.2 will not connect to Windows XP Professional with TightVNC server 2.02 installed. Remote Desktop Viewer screen goes black then you receive "Connection Closed" error message.
I'm logged in to a Windows 7 machine from a Windows 7 desktop, using the standard Remote Desktop client.
Is there a key short cut to maximise a window within the remote desktop session (equivalent to Windows+up arrow)?
I want the remote desktop session to NOT be full screen on my client machine, but to easily maximise windows on the remote session to the full size of the remote desktop window.
I need to create one application based on rdp(Remote Desktop Protocol) , which enables you to connect to your Windows computers across the Internet from your mobile device(ANDROID).
Hi,
The host machine is Ubuntu 64bit, latest release.
Windows 2008 R2 running on VMWARE, workstation 7.0.
I have LTSP clients running Fedora 10, which are connecting to the Windows 2008 R2, using Remote Desktop Connection.
Only one application I have problem seeing the mouse, since its white on white.
We can start 3 Remote Desktop sessions on Window Server 2003 without installing TS Licenses. (Two Remote Session (with mstsc) & third with mstsc /console or mstsc /admin i.e console session)
This no longer works in Window Server 2008.
It allows only to take two Remote Desktop sessions.
Main Workflow:
When you are physically on computer A (with a large resolution) and remote desktop (with the sub workflow) into computer B and then remote desktop again to computer C with a very large resolution on computer B.
