In the settings of remmina, I ticked the box which says that the taskbar icon should start automatically. Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work, I have to start remmina manually.
In 12.04 this worked, any idea why?

I downloaded, compiled remmina and freerdp from the source repositories. Unlikely I am having troubles in RDP connections. When I initiate any RDP connection from Remmina, Remmina is closed immidialtely.
I tried to open freerdp from terminal, it worked like a charm. I tried to open remmina from terminal to check errors.
I have two laptops. I want want one to be internet enabled and the other to be used with remmina to control the first.
LT1 has wireless DCHP and Wired. LT2 has a crossover cable to LT1. If I set them up with manual IPV4 settings on the same network, I can get remmina to work but there is no internet access on LT1.
This is a known issue but I'm searching for a work-around. Link to the bug is noted below but in a nutshell, the GUI doesn't change the quality so you get stuck with something I can barely stand to look at.
i'm struggeling with a problem for a while, i'm using REMMINA to connect to W7 (32/64) PC's using RDP-protocol. After an update the sound stopped working, means i cannot use local sound, which works with an XP-machine.
I deleted the "known-hosts-file", i completely re-installed Remmina, using standard configuration and new config-files, no change.
I have not changed Remmina preferences and suddenly, the keys 'b', 'd', 't', etc., were almost sending Super + key to the VM. So if I open a remote desktop session with Remmina, those keys do not work as normal. And suddenly the problem is gone and I can remember pressing Win/Super key with the VM on the foreground.
