Qt Labs Americas being announced

Akademy is continuing here in Gran Canaria with many talks, BoFs and announcments.

The Akademy 2013 Program Committee is proud to present the Akademy 2013 Presentation Schedule. Reflecting the scope of KDE, the schedule includes a wealth of interesting, timely and valuable topics. From the proposals submitted, 32 were selected to address currently relevant topics of most interest to the KDE Community.

While the heat of the Desktop Summit 2011 is still remaining, we are already looking for a host for Akademy 2012. Akademy is the annual gathering of the KDE community, one of the largest and most significant in the world of Free and Open Source Software. At Akademy, the KDE community gathers to exchange ideas for development and to discuss other important topics.

The Akademy 2012 Program Committee is proud to present the Akademy 2012 Sessions. Given the broad nature of KDE, the proposals submitted contained a wealth of interesting and valuable topics. Community KeynoteAgustín Benito Bethencourt Yesterday, nearly 300 hackers grabbed their badges at the Estonian IT College in Tallinn and launched Akademy 2012.

Walking towards registration In Tampere, Finland, the pre-Akademy party kicked off the conference last night. Hundreds of KDE contributors were there, meeting old and new friends and enjoying the party.
