Hello Guys,
My HTC One X is softbricked, still confused as to which RUU to use.
So now that we have S-Off, I decided to do a bit of research on how to get rid of the red HTC disclaimer and the word "Tampered" from the bootloader screen.
Seems that there is only one way to get rid of "Tampered" and that's to re-lock your bootloader and then flash a RUU.
Whether the word stays gone after you re-flash a custom recovery and ROM/kernel I can't say for sure.
Have a HTC One X (Vodafone Australia) that I unlocked, rooted etc. to work with my Telstra Australia SIM.
According to the wikipedia entry, a bootloader is a small program stored in ROM(a part of the main memory(RAM), isn't it??) which can only be read and not erased. I am a little puzzled here.

I cant get the phone to root. When i tried it says this:

(bootloader) [ERR] Command error !!!
OKAY [ 0.022s]
finished.
Hi all,
I've got myself a carrier branded and locked SK17a (Mini Pro). I want to unlock the bootloader to install a couple of custom roms, but I was wondering if sim unlocking the phone would change the bootloader unlockability to yes.
Thanks in advance,
Dillon
