Don't forget to mark your thread as solved.  You can do this by editing the first post and then simply prepending [Solved] to your title.I wasn't trying to scare you by telling you that, by the way.  I just have been frequently seeing posts with titles that are soemthing like "HELP PLEASE!!!

Yes it is a big deal, and there is a reason why that step in included in the beginners guide.  It can create unforseen consequences, as you ahve found out.Please mark the thread as [Solved], which can be done by editing the first post.

Also, you should know that the reason that those variables were unrecognized when you compiled is because you had these flags set:<snip> -USE_IMAP -USE_SMTP -USE_SSL_OPENSSL -USE_SSL_GNUTLS <snip>Of course, they should have been +USE_IMAP +USE_SMTP etc.Interestingly, you also had -USE_POP set, so it makes me wonder what you could actually even use it for t that point.If you are sat
