Redirect https to http on what

http://www.linuxquestions.org – Hi folks, okay normaly we want to redirect http to https traffic. But in case of self signed certifiactes or use of cacert where the root certificate is not allready known what means can one use to redirect https to http? I first though of cookies but for that to work I would need to have connection and for that the client needs to accept the certificate. As far as I know ssl on the client side checks for the root ca and if not known either blocks or gives out warning. So I'm stuck there. Any one some ideas? Regards Zhjim (HowTos)
