Now the display resolution has changed to 640x480

Hello! I am trying to play runescape in HD.I got a GeForce 9600M GT video card. Below you can download the latest driver available for the nVidia GeForce GTX295 graphic chipset for Solaris operating System. This is the Solaris display driver version 260.19.44 for GeForce GTX295 series.
Installed Ubuntu 11.10 on a Gateway GT 5628 with a NVIDIA GeForce 8500 GT graphics processor. Was working fine until I attempted to update the driver; now, after boot I get a blank/black screen.
How can I revert back to the unrestricted driver from a terminal?
I am currently using two monitors with one in landscape mode and the other in portrait mode. Video card is Nvidia Geforce 9600 GT with nvidia's propriety driver.
I was able to force the issue in 11.10 by assigning a separate X screen for each monitor and rotating the screen assigned to the portrait monitor.

I am using Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise x64.
After installing the Hyper-V role and restarting the machine, I get a blue screen error and an immediate reboot. I have Googled the issue and tracked it down to the graphics card, so I uninstalled it, and then Windows loads fine.

The PC worked fine under F11. Had to use nomodeset as a boot parameter to get the installer to run.
i have trouble with video driver. In my laptop i have 2 video cards
- geforce 630m
- intel hd 4000 series
I install ubuntu 12.04, os starts in unity 2d mode, i try to install drivers to both video cards, but results inefficiencies.
Nvidia control panel propose me create xorg config file manualy, but after this screen resolution resets to 640x480 and i cant back it to normal mode.
