I am using dell precision t5500 which came with pre installed redhat. During the coarse of time the serial key for redhat was lost, due to that it is getting difficult to install or update the softwares.
I also read online regarding problems in installing ubuntu parallel with redhat.
Just was wondering, I'm currently using Ubuntu 12.4 and was interested in downloading Redhat into Parallels 8.0 (current MBP user). Is there a consumer version of Redhat that I can download and what is the big difference between Redhat and Ubuntu? Any and all help would be deeply appreciated.
I am trying to test RedHat 7 before using it on my new servers for customers of mine.
I am having some trouble with some differences, In Red Hat 5.10 everything in /etc/xinetd.d would already be installed and all I would have to do is edit the files "telnet" or "gssftp" in order to allow me to telnet/ftp out or in. But on RedHat 7 it is an empty directory.
Past one week, I was working on red-hat Enterprise linux 6.4 installation on system.I tell what i did !!. I downloaded redhat linux server 6.4 iso images (both 32 bit and 64 bit) from redhat site. burn iso into dvd(one dvd for 32 bit and other 64 bit).
