http://forum.xda-developers.com – When i flash the stock rom using odin, the stock recovery works. but then, when i update the CWM to any version, the recovery stops working. It stops on the samsung galaxy ace screen which is the 2nd screen, with a small yellow dot on top left. i am not able to flash any rom. i have even tried using d CWM app, but it stops at d same screen. pls help. Note: the download mode and the stock rom works perfectly. (HowTos)

hey guys hope someone can help. i tried to return my gs3 to stock after rooting it and putting a rom on it, so i used odin and i downloaded the stock tar file from the stock rom thread, and all seemed to go alright but when it rebooted in got stuck on the samsung screen. it shows the sprint bootup thing and galaxy s3 but then gets stuck on samsung screen.

Couple days ago I tried to flash my note2 with mobile odin back to stock rom but something went wrong and since I have not been able to get past the welcome screen *Samsung Galaxy Note 2*.

Ok i need to know which stock rom is ok to flash through my micro sd card,becuase odin doesnt want to reconizge my galaxy s2 9100,the reason why??it was updating to ice cream 4.0.3 went to 48% and stop and now its stock on boot screen,but it will go to stock recovery and downloading mode but my reconizge!!please help!!

Hi The problem is I cannot get into recovery (Whether stock recovery or custom I tried fresnel rom, speedmod rom 3-15, AbyssNotekernel42CWTouchOriginalLogo ) I know the button press sequence.

My SGS2 was working all morning until I pulled it out of my pants after class today. It was on rooted stock ics, and I have no idea how it could have bricked in the first place. First symptom was a bootloop.

There was a time I was good at this. All I can do now is just trip my flash counter or brick my devices.

Download the file.

Unzip

Set the device in download mode (yes, my drivers work)

Run odin

Point the PDA to the tar file.

Flash. The thing reboots, odin says pass!

Try to boot into recovery and only get the stock recovery.

I have done this several times now. And same thing.

I've gotten a warranty replacement for my samsung charge and went to ODIN flash it back to EP4D per tweaked's 2.2's recommendation. After attempting the following the phone does not boot. I can get the phone into download mode, but cannot access any recovery mode.
