I had CM10 M2 on my Verizon GS3 for a week until my efs files were deleted. Went through a whole process restoring the IMEI, etc.
Now I'm trying to root and install CM10 again. I followed the instruction as usual.
Can use Odin, enter recovery and download mode
Using PhiliZ Touch 4 as recovery now
One day the screen suddenly turned black and I cant boot for a while
But later i can boot my phone however it stuck at the samsung logo
I entered recovery mode
It said
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/command
E: Can't mount /cache/recovery/log
E: Can't open /cache/recovery/command

I had a question here a couple days ago asking about updating prls on cm10, so my brother reverted it back to stock using odin. I'm used to doing everything using clockwork recovery, but he said its better that way for some reason.
I was getting ready to sell my Triumph so I went into recovery and performed factory reset. Then restored my stock image. Now the phone will only show bootloader mode. I cannot get into recovery either. I am able to see the device on my computer once I connect it via usb. plz help!
Tried replacing the recovery image with tjstyle's and still cannot get the phone to boot into recovery.
As the title says, I am unable to get into recovery mode, or boot normally. The only thing I can do is boot into download mode.
After much research, I think what I did was trigger the eMMc hardbrick :(
I was on AOKP Milestone 6 and I wanted to flash CM10, so I went ahead and tried to do a factory reset. It hung in the middle of it so I was forced to turn the phone off.
Hi I rooted my phone with ginger break and I think I installed Clockwork recovery a while back but the SD card that was in it got lost and I just got a new one and wanted to Factory reset the phone, so I unrooted the phone and went to Privacy and Reset it and now its bricked.
This is CWM Recovery v6.0.1.2 It needs some testing and some feedback. I haven't tested every new option yet but the basics seem to work fine. I factory reset and installed 3 ROMs with no problems: Sharp Ver8, My GB ROM, and CM10. I have also restored some very old backups of CM7 and froyo. Let me know how it goes.
If you need any more information it can be found here.
My SGS2 was working all morning until I pulled it out of my pants after class today.
It was on rooted stock ics, and I have no idea how it could have bricked in the first place.
First symptom was a bootloop.
