Recommended Mid-range phone with above-average battery?

I can't really calculate it based on mAh alone because my Galaxy Nexus battery sucks compared to others with same mAh. Any other suggestion? Thanks :) (HowTos)

I wanted to get this phone as a replacement to my Nokia N8.

Having been loyal to Nokia over the years, I'm used to absolutely excellent battery life, where I get a good 2 days of normal use, or easily get through 1 day of heavy use.

Would the Galaxy Nexus be a really bad step down ?

I was thinking about putting my 1750 mAh battery back in my Galaxy Nexus since getting my nexus 7 because I use it more than my phone. How is the battery life for those with the normal battery that also use the Nexus 7 a lot.

Sub-par battery life 14 weeks 4 days ago

I've seen lots of battery life forums, and most of them show great battery life (over 12 hours) with lots of screen time. I'm not even in an LTE area, but I get very good signal. My screen brightness is at about 30% and I have two e-mail accounts (Exchange push and Gmail sync).

I know we have a lot of battery life threads and I absolutely love this phone but mine is not getting good battery life. I'm an advanced android user, I know it well and I do know that some devices just have bugs which kill battery life.

Im guilty. Ive had posts on here about poor battery life. My phone isnt even a year old and the battery life just had become horrible. To the point it was 2 recharges per day.

I blamed the OS and updates because it just didnt seem like the battery should be gone. I was getting 9-10 hours on average.

i have a galaxy s3 and i think its a brilliant phone the only issue i have is the battery will only last 6 - 8 hours a day that's even if the phones in sleep mode (phone locked)

The phone is only 3 months old and is in immaculate condition it is stock rom and is not rooted.

i have brightness to about 35% tried a battery saver but they don't seem to do much for me

Not here to complain about the battery life or anything! I just got my Galaxy S III on Thursday night and am loving it thus far. I've never had an Android phone before this, and also never really had "high end" - type, phone.
