I don't know why this started but it is very annoying. My speaker works because I played music while my phone didn't make any noise and it worked.
But when pressing the volume keys, the little "boop" doesn't sound and when I restart the phone, the animation and sound turning off doesn't sound but the boot animation sound works and everything is normal, at least for awhile anyway.
I'm looking for a notification sound that one of my old buddy's had on his galaxy note. I think the sound was called "oh my message" and the sound when you played it was "ohh ahhh". I think it was a stock notification sound. He beamed me the sound a while ago, but my phone recently got wiped and I no longer have it.
I have looked all over the web and I can't find it.
So i was wondering if my phone could be damage from finger being too wet. I pressed the home button earlier and saw like 2 droplet of water near it due to not drying my hands good enough after washing it. The phone is working perfectly fine atm but would like to know if this situation should be avoided or does it take alot more than that to cause water damage to the phone.
First of, let me describe my setup. I have an audio system in my avensis, which allows connection of the phone for media and also for phone. I have my phone set, so that when it is on charge in the car, the BT is switched on
When the car is started, it auto connects to my BT stereo.
I had a carabiner case, which was attached to my bag, so the phone was hanging off of my bag. I put my bag down in the car, and closed the door...on the phone. The phone has a nice, tiny crack at the top left of the screen, rendering the touchscreen portion from working. At the time of the incident, the screen was still working, but after 3 days, the screen started to "die off".
I placed it on top of my phone last night at one point and I'm not sure but what would happen to the phone because of that? Everything works fine except for the lock screen sound and clicking sound.

Hello. Before I got my Android handset, I had a Samsung Eternity II which is a messaging phone and runs a proprietary (Samsung) OS. I'm interested in retrieving a notification sound from the phone to put on my current device and I haven't been able to find it anywhere. On the phone it's simply called "Message Tone 1" I believe.
Me to many bugs after ics well i was told by Samsung and att we can go back. To gingerbread .I am having trouble with notification sound stopping daily between 3 and 5 its weird i on third phone from att same issue. A reboot fixes problem till next day at same time and am not doing anything to phone between this time.
I have a friend with a Sprint plan who would like to start exploring the world of smart phones.
