I'm want my syslinux bootloader to be able to boot a (bootable) USB,when the bootloader is started from a HDD so that it can use TrueCrypt encrypted partitions.I'm using syslinux, and I don't want to switch to grub, because I prefer syslinux. When syslinux was installed, syslinux.cfg contained an commented setup from chainloading Windows:LABEL windowsCOM32 chain.c32APPEND hd0 0Changi

I have a dual boot setup with xp on one hd and ubuntu on a second hd. I recently upgraded to 10.04 and started getting the message on my monitor saying "input signal out of range". I searched on how to fix this and was advised to do this: " sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver -xorg " and this unfortunately screwed up my boot options and would no longer go into ubuntu.
OK, thanks./Lars

Hy,
First of all, best wishes for the new year.
I have the last Imac 21.5 inches, 2.7 Quad Core, OSX 10.8.
I tried to install Fedora Core 12 via local ISO Image on Virtual PC 2007 and it crashes immediately after selecting "Install or Upgrade". I get "An unrecoverable processor error has occurred"
I have tried changing the setup strings by adding "noreplace-paravirt" as suggested for the same problem with Fedora 9 and 10, but still had the same issue.
