I have registered with redhat but unable to get the iso files for redhat 6 or later.
As far as my understanding goes, Redhat desktop edition is free and they charge you for support( correct me if i m wrong).
Which one is best for learning purpose?
Is a choice of redhat 6 good or shall i stick with redhat 5?
Oops, I made a mistake. Try this link instead:http://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/ente... [by maschwar77]
Just was wondering, I'm currently using Ubuntu 12.4 and was interested in downloading Redhat into Parallels 8.0 (current MBP user). Is there a consumer version of Redhat that I can download and what is the big difference between Redhat and Ubuntu? Any and all help would be deeply appreciated.

I have one RedHat 6 machine and three Mac OS machines. I want the RedHat one to be a file server, so that all files will be stored there. All Mac clients will access this server according to their rights.
It seems that this will not use samba. Could you please let me know what should I do in this case?
Hey guys,
We have two server environments that are acting different however they are different OS's... Ubuntu vs Redhat
We have an Ubuntu environment that is able to maintain about 450 connections/second until about 120,000 connections. In our Redhat environment we are not able to match this or even come close.
Hello Experts,
I have a question about Redhat HA Add-On, how can i setup an Active/Active Cluster using Redhat 5.7 64Bit, with Round-Robin technique.
Each server will run an application and oracle database without RAC.
Thanks
Back in early 2005 I started playing around with RedHat Linux 7.3 because the “Tech Guy”, Leo LaPorte, had talked about it on his radio show. What he had said about Linux intrigued me.
hi friend , plz clear my doubt.
Can i install old versions of redhat linux
(like versions 3,4,5) for SATA type hard
disk. I heard that SATA disk will allow
new versions of redhat linux only.
Is it true?

I have created a virtual machine and installed Redhat 6. I am having issues connecting using public key authentication.
I can use PuTTY on my Windows host to connect to the redhat guest, where I am prompted for a password.
