What is so much better about Jelly Bean over ICS?
Time for the news that owners of the DROID RAZR HD and MAXX HD have been waiting for: Jelly Bean has been approved for those devices and will begin rolling out in phases beginning next week per news straight from Verizon:
Friday, Nov. 30: DROID RAZR HD and DROID RAZR MAXX HD by Motorola are the next smartphones to be upgraded to Android 4.1, Jelly Bean.
It’s always nice to see companies releasing timetables for upcoming updates, especially as big as Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
At Verizon Wireless, only the Galaxy Nexus runs Jelly Bean. Eight other phones ship with ICS: Motorola's Droid Razr M, Droid 4 and Droid Razr Maxx; Samsung's Galaxy S III and Galaxy Stellar; HTC's Rezound and Droid Incredible 4G LTE; LG's Intuition; and the Pantech Marauder. Verizon says it will ship Jelly Bean for the Razr M by the end of the year and, later, for the Galaxy S III.
Never before have we seen such a glorious Christmas present from Verizon, but it appears as though the original Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR MAXX are now receiving an over-the-air update to Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean.
okay so heres there deal. im pretty sure i have the full insurance on my razr maxx. this is my second one. and go figure since the update its running like a pile of crap!! is there any possible way to have them switch it out for the razr maxx HD without doing an upgrade?
also im sure its already been asked..whats the best way to clean the cache on the new jelly bean? TIA
Hey guy!
Ok so I am now planning on trading my Galaxy Nexus for either a Razr or Razr Maxx. The battery life is one of the reasons Im trying to get rid of the Nexus, and I dont want to go to something that has the same problem.
My biggest problem now is picking between the two.

Fed Ex just delivered a package from Motorola, and it was definitely a surprise since I wasn’t expecting a review unit. I knew if wasn’t a device since it was so light, so I opened it right away to find out what it was.
