I have a picture I'd like to use as my avatar I uploaded it to my page here on the forum but I see no option anywhere or even along the lines that says use picture as your avatar am I looking in the wrong spot or something been trying to figure this out for a little bit now and I'm ready to shoot something can someone please help me
I'm just curious how people chose their screen name and avatar -- there is a wide range of both here.I'll start, but it should be fairly obvious. My wife and I have too many animals, including too many dogs. We have three now, but we had four until last summer when my wife's favorite died from lymphoma. He's the dog in my avatar.
MeMaker is a simple open-source tool that allows you to create cool avatars to use in wherever you like, ie forums, facebook, twitter, chat room, image boards ... The package's size is very small but it has many options and features.
I’ve never been a fan of animated avatars on any service, let alone Twitter. I am an avid user of the web client, and I cannot stand seeing things flash before my eyes along with 140 characters, but maybe I’m just a jerk.
Twitter apparently didn’t like them either, and according to BuzzFeed, you can no longer use an animated GIF as an avatar on the service.
The NYT is on it, if by “on it” you mean the newspaper has successfully managed to get a Twitter account that parodied its news coverage suspended from Twitter by citing copyright concerns. According to the Facebook page for The Times Is On It, the issue with the account is not the content, however, but rather the avatar.
