I have an LG -E405 phone running Android 2.3.6.
As can be seen here, the phone has 1GB internal memory and 384Mb RAM.
When I look at default App manager, this is what I get,
RAM - 231Mb
System Memory - 157 Mb.
Internal Memory - 378Mb.
SD Card - 2Gb.
Also, all the applications I install, by default take up space from System memory.
Many tutorials explain about moving apps from internal memor
On Windows 7 and Windows 2008 SP2, how can I view who or what is using up my memory?

I'm looking for really good application that will get me physical signs of how much memory my phone is using. I also would like to use it to determine what memory being used by individual applications. Any suggestions?
I have a strange memory behavior in an Android application I'm developing. The application is running fine, but if I look to a "task manager" in Android, like the Samsung SII task manager or the "Memory Usage" application on a Nexus 7 it shows that while using the app the amount of memory used is rapidly growing to an insane amount, like hundreds of megas (600~700MB on the Nexus 7).
I'm using cgroups with the memory controller to set a memory limit for each user (using the memory.limit_in_bytes setting).
The problem is that this setting also accounts cache usage. Therefore, if the limit is 1GB, and the user merely downloads or copies a 1GB file, their processes get killed.
The internal memory on my t989 is incredibly sluggish, there isn't a whole lot of storage being used. Only a few gigs. Tried to transfer a 200mb file onto the internal memory and it took 10 some odd minutes. :/
Could anyone provide me with some insight on speeding it up or should I just try and RMA the phone? Would I benefit from completely reformatting my t989?
My phone was working fine with Cyanogenmod Rom for a quite a while now. But I put someone else's memory card (after unmounting my sd card) and it started restarting. I tried to start the phone with my memory card, and even without any memory card at all, but the problem still persists.
Here are the details of my phone:
1. ClockWorkMod Recovery 4.0.0.5
2. CyanogenMOD 7.2 rc5.7
3.
Here I will show you to to minimize this memory and CPU usage on Firefox.
Firefox is my vital software on my daily activity. It has been my default Internet browser for years. But, did you realize that actualy Firefox eats huge amount of memory and CPU resources?
