I have a machine running a distribution of Turnkey Linux from Debian 7.2. The wireless card is a Ralink rt3090. I cannot get the machine to connect to a wireless network whatsoever, and need to get it to connect to a WPA2 protected one. Wired ethernet cables do function. I have installed WPA Supplicant, Rfkill, and Debian's Ralink driver.
Hello everyone.:) I installed Ubuntu 10.04 amd64. I cannot connect via wireless. When I left clink on the "wireless" icon on desktop, not reading any wireless spots. I have RaLink RT3090 PCIe for wireless card. Then I uninstalled Ubuntu 10.04.
Next I tried running Live CD (quicker than installing) of Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat Alpha3.
I'm running openSuse 11.3 64-bit on an HP Pavillion p6510f. It has an
onboard RaLink wireless N (RT3090). NetworkManager is able to configure and
use the wireless device. Ifup is unable to initialize the driver (rt2860).
I have CrunchBang Waldorf installed on a HP ProBook 4330s. My wireless connection drops out at random times and I have to turn my wireless card off/on for it to work again.1. uname -rv
