Radeon 4350 HD - what drivers should I be using?

http://forums.fedoraforum.org – I've got a new system that I've been setting up Fedora 12 x86_64 on, but I'm having a little trouble with video / driver issues. I tried (against the Fedora recommendations, I know..) the fglrx drivers, now my system now boots to a black screen with no console.. I can type to my heart's content but it does no good. I cannot restore the old xorg file or anything like that as I cannot even get to console. I've tried to rescue from the disc, that doesn't get anywhere either. So right now I realize I'm probably looking at a reinstall, which is fine - I just installed it anyway. The question is, what drivers SHOULD I be using? I only saw one Radeon driver in the package manager and it specifically said it was a "work in progress" and may experience "regressions, bugs, errors, broken displays" etc. Needless to say, I wasn't inspired with a great deal of confidence. So.. what are the appropriate Fedora 12 x86_64 drivers for a ATI Radeon 4350? Because.. I'm not finding anything that looks promising... (HowTos)
