I am currently running a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 SCH-i545 NC5. I've been wanting CyanogenMod for a while now, but from what it seems the bootloader is completely locked for the S4. I have read that it is possible to downgrade to an older version to get the unlocked bootloader, is this possible? If it is possible I don't know which version to downgrade to... ME7, MDK, MJ7?
Probably a silly question but my friend wants me to root his Incredible 2 but its Sim unlocked and he uses it on T-mobile, and I'm don't know if I should root it because I'll have to downgrade it to 2.3.3 and I don't know if downgrading it will re-lock the sim.
Quick question, switching from iPhone to Note 4, first time android user. I have been hearing a lot about a unlocked bootloader. Did some research and still a little confused about what the difference is between an unlocked phone and a unlocked bootloader. What are the advantages of having one or the other || are they one in the same ?
k So i have an htc evo v 4g originally on virgin mobile. I unlocked the boot-loader n shortly there after did s-off Juopunutbear, almost a year later i had it flashed to pageplus everything worked initially. So sometime later, in the course of downgrading my h boot i had forgot to get a Juopunutbear Patched H boots. So after i flashed aPG86IMG.zip, I realized my boot-loader had become locked.
